BPUN16: Mind Maps in Education: From Collecting Dots, to Connecting Dots
It seems like only yesterday that we were enjoying a wonderful day at our 7th (yes, 7th!!) Biggerplate Unplugged Conference, this time in fabulous New York City, New York. Now that the dust has settled on #BPUN16, we thought we'd share each of our outstanding speaker's presentations with you all, allowing you to relive them if you were lucky enough to join us in NYC, or enjoy them for the first time!
First up is one of our favourite mappers from the world of education, Toni Krasnic. Toni is a huge advocate of mapping within education and for many years he's been doing terrific work bring mind maps to the classroom and improving student's learning and education in the process.
In this great presentation, Toni explores the use of mind mapping in education to help students connect up information, rather than simply collect bits to pass tests. A fantastic call to action for students and teachers everywhere!
