More confirmed speakers for San Francisco mind map conference!
Very excited to announce two more confirmed speakers for the next Biggerplate Unplugged mind map conference, taking place in San Francisco on March 20th 2014! We're very lucky to welcome two fantastic perspectives to our event, and both presentations promise to contribute a great deal to exploring the real-world applications and benefits of mind mapping!
First off, we welcome Dave Maxfield, a consumer lawyer from South Carolina, who is also the co-developer of the Final Argument app for the iPad!
Dave will be talking through his Collect-Organise-Present methodology to illustrate the role mind maps can play in helping to gather information and organise it coherently to form the basis of a coherent presentation or argument.
Dave has been using mind maps extensively in his work for many years, and brings a great deal of enthusiasm and experience to share with our conference attendees. His practical approach to presentation creation will almost certainly help you to think and plan differently next time you have a compelling case to make!
Next we welcome James Franklin, a project management professional with over 29 years of environmental and infrastructure project experience. James uses mind mapping software for capture management, proposal development, and project planning on large government contracts.
James also teaches project management at the University of California San Diego, and features mind maps heavily in his teaching.
James will explore mind mapping techniques that can be used to plan large projects, align project teams, and ensure seamless progress through numerous project phases. James will also share some of the project management best practices that he has learned over many years, and which he now shares with trainee project managers at UCSD.
Two fantastic additions to the agenda for the day, and there are more great speakers and sessions to be announced shortly!
Don't forget - early bird tickets for the event are only available until the end of December, so act fast to save money and secure your place at what promises to be a fantastic installment of the Biggerplate Unplugged conference series!
