SimTech MindMapper now supported on Biggerplate!

Fantastic news this week as we announce support for SimTech MindMapper on Biggerplate.com, meaning MindMapper users can now upload and share their mind map creations on the Biggerplate mind map library!

We are thrilled to team up with the SimTech organisation to bring a new collaboration to the mind mapping world, and another fantastic software format into the system at Biggerplate.com!

Originating from South Korea (where it is known as ThinkWise), the first commercial version of MindMapper was introduced to the world back in 1998, having started life as an internal solution developed to aid in-house industrial project management! The product has since progressively evolved with close to 1 million users worldwide, and an enviable customer list featuring most of the Fortune 500!

Our collaboration with SimTech has already been extremely valuable, as we have learned so much from this great team, who have been able to share many years of experience in the mind mapping world. In fact, it's a great time for us to team up with MindMapper, since they have also just celebrated 25 years in business! Congratulations!

On announcing this new collaboration, Yohan Sohn (GM for SimTech USA) explained "I believe Biggerplate is providing a great service to mind mapping software communities around the world by offering central point of access to thousands of real-world mind maps for people to share. Biggerplate is an online reference point for mind mapping ideas and applications. It is a fantastic platform that will definitely help put mind mapping software in the mainstream. And putting mind mapping software in the mainstream is our collective goal as mind mapping, visual thinkers."

Biggerplate Founder Liam Hughes is equally pleased with this latest collaboration, saying "there are a number of reasons for us to get excited about this latest addition to the Biggerplate community! Firstly, it's a great mind mapping product, and a fantastic company with a long and very positive reputation in the mind mapping sector. We're excited to support and work with SimTech in the coming months and years, and delighted to be able to learn from them as we continue to build our library and community. Secondly, the strength of the MindMapper/ThinkWise brand in Korea and Asia will help us to engage with the mind mapping community in this region even further. We're seeing significant growth in our member community in certain Asian countries, and our collaboration with SimTech will help us engage and respond to these developments better than ever before. Finally, the thought of welcoming nearly one million MindMapper software users to the Biggerplate community, and seeing what they are creating with the software, is of course, the most exciting part of all!"

We're so excited to welcome MindMapper/ThinkWise users to the Biggerplate community, and we look forward to seeing what users have been creating with this great software. You can see some fantastic example maps shared by the SimTech organisation on their Biggerplate profile page!

We'd like to thank the global SimTech team for their collaboration and work on this new functionality, and we look forward to the next steps in our collaboration. It's another key piece of the puzzle in place here at Biggerplate.com, and we look forward to welcoming many more MindMapper users to the community!
