Biggerplate at the EYE Bristol 2017 event!

From Atlanta to Bristol, Biggerplate provide live mapping and facilitation services, as well as mind map training workshops.

Last week, my colleague Graham and I had the pleasure of joining over a hundred young engineers from across Europe at the 41st European Young Engineers conference, hosted in Bristol at the famed Engineers House. It was certainly worth a 6:30am departure from Oxford on a Saturday!

EYE is a European network of young engineering professionals and students sharing knowledge, fostering mobility and developing personal and professional skills.

It was a fascinating day, exploring new ways of thinking, learning from the experiences of other young engineers, and building our personal network over a day of seminars and workshops.

The theme of the conference was ‘Ideas are International’, and with the increasing demand in new technologies and international connections, we felt this hit European demands right on the spot.

Biggerplate was able to provide these young Engineers with mind map content from each of the sessions, as well as with an insight to the uses of mind mapping in a session we called "Mind Mapping: from complexity to clarity".

It was definitely a jam-packed but fun day of participation and learning, where we discovered more about engineering history and how lessons learned here and abroad can transfer across borders to engineer a better world for all.

Here are the mind maps created from the event, take a look!
